The 28th IFPEX (International Fluid Power Exhibition) will be held at Tokyo Big Sight for three days, beginning on September 15, 2027.

Since its inception in 1963, this exhibition has served as Japan’s only trade fair dedicated exclusively to fluid power technology, showcasing the latest equipment and systems designed to address the industrial challenges of each era.

Today, industries—including manufacturing and logistics—are undergoing a major transformation. This shift is driven by the urgent push toward decarbonization (Green Transformation/GX), the need to address intensifying labor shortages, and the transition to next-generation operations through the integration of digital technologies.

In this context, fluid power technology—which combines high-level controllability with high power output—plays a vital role. It serves as an indispensable solution not only for advancing automation and boosting productivity but also for achieving energy savings and reducing environmental impact.

Through this exhibition, we aim to highlight the true value and potential of fluid power, while also cultivating new market sectors. Planned special features include a themed section exploring the next-generation drive and control possibilities that arise from the fusion of hydraulic and pneumatic technologies, as well as a dedicated area showcasing the role of fluid power within the field of robotics.

Furthermore, with an eye toward the succession of technical expertise and the future development of the industry, we are actively reaching out to the next generation—including students and young professionals. We will also employ a multifaceted promotional strategy, utilizing digital media and social networking platforms, to ensure an even higher attendance than in previous editions.
